Looks like southern Manitoba or northwest Ontario would be most convenient for you based on your location, and those are 2 pretty good spots for waterfowl and grouse.

Grouse are not skittish up north like down south, and usually just require a walk on the ATV trail in the evening to run into them. I would take in some fishing while your up too!
