Waterfowl / Ruffed grouse hunt

I’ve been looking into going to Canada and trying a waterfowl / ruffed grouse hunting trip. Anyone have any suggestions of where and when to go.

Looks like southern Manitoba or northwest Ontario would be most convenient for you based on your location, and those are 2 pretty good spots for waterfowl and grouse.

There are outfitters that you can go with and they would help you with the best time to come up and put you in a good spot for success. Grouse are not skittish up north like down south, and usually just require a walk on the ATV trail in the evening to run into them. I would take in some fishing while your up too!
