Talking Point.... Thanks for the report. John sent me a photo of a year old pup just this morning, maybe one of yours. Didn't include dog's name.

I have a 10 month old out of Cooper's littermate, Opal (also ours).

Two of my hunting buddies have the Cooper and Remy litter dogs. Going to the invitational this year to watch a Cooper/Remy that qualified last year.

Harv, ain’t got here often of late but catching up to the big news to say I’m thrilled to the gills for you and sure your patience in getting a pup has paid off - congratulations you ol’ V-dog warhorse!

Thanks MG...

TP... Good luck at the Invite.

Hitting the road early tomorrow. A little weather interference might influence how much progress we make each day. Would like to make Belgrade first day but that's a long haul in good weather. Usually spend the night in Butte on the trips east.

Great looking pup! Keep us posted and I am interested to see how her coat and furnishing develop.
You never have to tell a dog what time to be home, give them the keys, and they never ask for money.

Her coat will darken quite a bit. Wish it would stay the way it is now. Coat length will be sort of short and flat lying. She’s losing some of her soft puppy hair and I can feel some harshness starting to develop. It’s early. Her furnishings look like they will pretty much cover her face. Just how long they get only time will tell. Hope she has a nice toilet brush. When folks look at her I want them to be able to recognize the breed.

My last dog, Ellie, looked like a DD till she was over a year old and this pup is related to Ellie on both sides of the pedigree. Ellie’s coat slowly evolved over her entire life. Maya (call name) will have a shorter coat. I hope it will be just as durable.
