Some pointers for anyone that is going to try this out.
Get your young dog used to horses.
Get your young dog used to hunting with Another Young Dog
Get back to bird field as fast as you can as you only get 15 min.
The course is usually setup it will take you half the time to get to bird field.
They only put out two quail for two dogs in the bird field that is marked off with orange flags
Is pretty good size field to find 2 quail. And what do if the other dog flushes the 2 birds. And by the time you get to bird field you have About 7 to 8 minutes left. I would wait till your dog is mature to handle another dog and horses. Pups may struggle with this. Mature pups should be ok.
Some clubs may use bigger birds and more birds which is
good for young pups.
