A few ‘21-‘22 highlights with Cricket

It has been a good year for Cricket and me. We pheasant hunted a good bit. Hunted ducks and geese. Recovered some deer for friends that made less than optimum shots. Hunted woodcock in January. It is a down year for quail here. I’ve been running my new puppy on them but not shooting them. My photography skills are poor and I know my limitations and mostly just take a pic or two at the end of the day. I am blessed to own and hunt cricket. Here is some of what we have been up to this year.

Thank you for the kind words Harvey. Compared to the pictures of some of the talented photographers on this site whose posts capture the beauty of the country and their dogs, my pictures are pretty weak. My forte is working with and hunting my dogs. Hopefully I can occasionally share some insights or things of value in that arena to this forum. Cricket is hard to leave at home. The new puppy shares a lot of the same genetics and I have high hopes for him.
