I would love to hunt these birds one day. I imagine it would be a rush to be swinging on a big bomber! I feel like hunting seasons on these in Oregon might be limited though. I need to get the dog snake broke and get a trip planned in the near future.

I found a bunch of them in Montana back around 2002. Don’t know how widespread they are there but this was east of Lewistown maybe 60/70 miles.

I got into them good last September in Montana,, took a couple,,, made good eating so guess I got lucky,,,
