That doe will be delicious!

Iron sight 99. Way cool. .300 Savage caliber?

Yum... Good stuff.... What cartridge is the 99 chambered for? Was thinking of buying one many years ago to restore and hang on the wall for the cool factor but never got around to it. KJ has one he restored, think he hunts with it. Maybe he'll post a photo if you bug him.

Nice work Rowdy. You have been busy this fall. Down here at the southern end of the country things are just getting underway. Dove is open, teal has came and went but they are here in numbers now, and it is deer season. Ducks open Nov. 7 here. I spent this past weekend knocking around down in the coastal marshes multitasking, scouting and sight fishing for redfish. (Tap for full image)

I'm jealous of that drum! For all concerned the Model 99 is chambered in my favorite caliber... .308

I have a 99 in .308 as well. Had to have one when they stopped making them.
