Earl's swan adventure

Postby J D Patrick » Sun Feb 02, 2020 1:26 pm

Earl and I ran down to eastern NC to get in a quick hunt with some friends. We'd been down in SE Georgia all week working (and exploring some WMAs) so only had the one morning - got a young one and plan to make "Swiss Swan" for a meal

Earl's beard was a muddy mess,,,

Hell yeah to both of you! Swan hunting is definitely on my list for things to do. My best friend is a marine that currently lives over on the coast of N.C. Hopefully I can get over there and chase a few swans with him in the coming seasons! Hope you get to take another crack at them next season!

That's awesome, good job. Fine looking hound you got there. Sorry to have missed you guys in MT last year.
You have to be smarter than the dog to train it.

Those things must hit the ground like a wet bag of cement! Good stuff! Gotta love what looks like a young dog getting it done!

Thanks everybody - Earl and I have fun, and try to learn something

him cause he's young,,,

me cause I'm trying to prove an "old dog" can learn some new things (though I'm not ancient, I'm no longer "young")
