First black amateur field champion in wirehair history

Was sure I made a mistake when I got this dog for free. Put out a quail for him to point and he went right in and ate it. At the sound of a shotgun he would take off looking for birds and you couldn’t convince him there was nothing there.

But after a lot of work, a lot of birds and hunting the wheel off this dog he turned out to be a pretty nice one. Collected 2 field titles in 13 months. Signed up for a UT test in California the end of September. The duck search is serviceable enough to where I’m confident we should prize.

Just saw this. Putting an AFC on a dog takes a lot of dedication and work as well as a lot of dog! Congratulations!

Well done sir
