http://www.dogoman.com.ar/ go to hunting photos.
From a kennel in Argentina. My uncle did some peridz and dove hunting down there and came across these dogs. Couldnt say enough. They only kill with knives, guns are for sissies they say. 1 pic where the dog broke the boars skull. Cant believe they dont vest or wear cut collars.

Not much to compare Kevin. I use two experienced dogs and a novice if I have one. They will keep a boar anchord without catching. I don't need to put 4 to 6 dogs on a hog. See those dead dogs in several of the pictures........that's what happens when you have free ranging catch dogs that can hunt for themselves.

Read a little closer, they ARE vets. It caught my eye when I noticed the photo of the bloodied up dog on the tailgate of a pick-up being stitched up and an I. V. bag held by one of the hunters. I was thinking wow, these guys go the whole 9 yards with first aid!

DOGOMAN is a MD there in Argentina. He has access to all the medical supplies he needs for the dogs. They do not run vests or collars like we do here due to the type of terrain and style of hunting they do. Vests while they do protect dogs are limiting on dogs. They can cause dogs to over heat, get hung up in brush, and drown dogs when they become water logged.

As far as two or three dogs go. NOT every hog can be caught and anchored with three dogs, and once hogs have been hunted enough they will run and you wil not get a shot at them. What works for one person will not work for others. An once hogs learn one style will not work as good as it once did. To keep competative in hog hunting one must adapt thier style and use the dogs and methods that work the best at that time.
