Airedales hunting

I enjoyed the pictures. I noticed that most of the pictures were of fur. Just an observation.

Your observation is correct, historically Airedale Terriers have always been used primarily as fur dogs especially here in the USA and that is the way most hunters are still using them today. They just happen to have a natural affinity for birds which makes them decent serviceable bird hunting-retrieving dogs with a bit of training.

The post was made to show that hunting with Airedales is alive and well and that they are one of the most versatile hunting dog breeds alive. That being said I strongly advise doing your homework with any breed and breeder before taking the plunge.

Hey Al, good to see you on here. I agree that our Airedales are one of the most versatile hunting dogs out there.
