Bill made one post that changed the topic of the thread. Point out a post by me that isn't a direct response to something you said. Don't make negative inferences about versatile hunting dogs or versatile hunting dog training and I will sit back and watch you work your dogs.

Don used the term "lesser" dogs several times in some of the previous threads that got a lot of reaction from some of the DD guys thinking that Don was referring to their dogs and DD's in general compared to his airedales. I viewing some of the older threads I found that Don used that term to refer to some of his own dogs that were not the alpha or dominate dogs in his pack. So, the term was not used to describe a breed but to describe the position of any dog in comparison to an alpha. At least that is how I understood it to be.

What does this have to do with your thread? How can you say this did not restart an old argument :?:

Poor babies, Kyle and Jon, did Bill say something you didn't like.  How old are you two anyways.   And like a couple of little kids, you fell right into it.

Of course, like an adult, Bill didn't start crying like a spoiled kid even when Jon denied saying the Ken Vospet dog was roached. I am sure Bill didn't like that...oh yes, as usual, Jon said he was joking when he got caught in a lie.
Ignorance can be fixed but stupid is forever.
Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible IF you don't know what you are talking about.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Jim Beam in one hand, Airedale in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I can't speak for Jon but Bill did not say anything that I did not like although he did say something off topic that Jon responded to. However you said something that made it clear that you still do not understand versatile hunting dog tracking and bloodtrailing. When you mentioned that the reason for this thread was to show us how you start your dogs without a leash it is only natural to point out that you are mistaken we actually start our dogs tracking the same way you do. The difference is that once our dogs are accomplished trackers we take some of them one step farther and train them for blood work.

So there you have it. Now you can get back on topic.
