Which bird hunting/dog magazines do u guys like best. are there any really good versatile magazines out there.

Bird Dog & Retriever News
I met Dennis at the Anoka County Game Fair back in 1992, the first year he was putting out his publication, and signed up then and there. Straight up, I like the fact that he is a local guy who is in to dogs and hunting, trying to start up a hunting magazine from scratch. The more power to him.

Gun Dog used to be great, but has really fallen of the last few years. After 20 years, I finally stopped subscribing. Pointing Dog Journal is OK, but I never found it had enough in it to warrant a subcription.

I agree that Gun Dog isn't as good as it once was. I still subscribe to it as well as Pointing Dog Journal. I used to subscribe to Bird Dog and Retriever News as well. I also enjoy reading some of the forums online.
