Attached are several pictures of Alexis v.d. Freundschaftabund, a 12 year old Drahthaar purchased as a puppy from Carl F. Sturges v.d. Freundschaftabund Drahthaar's in West Chester, PA. The last of her original owners passed away last week and she has no where to go. We are fostering her, however her time with us is growing very short. For some reason she does not get along with our dog, but she does get along with other dogs (she was very friendly with a German Shorthair Pointer, but the family had 3 small, active children and that was not the right home for her). I got your contact info off the http://www.paccnavhda.com website as the one of the closest NAVHDA chapters to Virginia (where the dog is located). If you know of anyone who may be interested in rescuing this hunting dog, we would appreciate it if you could please pass along our contact info. We would be willing to drive quite some distance from the Virginia Beach area to deliver the dog to a good home.
