Our bird dogs favorite places....

My dogs hunt great places, I happen to like those places too (all Montana public lands, this past season) - the dogs and the places are intricately tied together...

I was lucky enough to get to Montana this year for a sage and sharpie hunt. All public as well. It was an experience to remember. Camping on BLM for a week and a couple porky encounters all made it memorable.

Beautiful state and great people.

Montana is one of my very favorite places. I love the mountains of the west just as much as the prairie of the east. Thanks for taking us along. Nice dog too!

Man, you sure hunt some beautiful country. Thanks for sharing the photos. A Western mixed bag bird hunt is a dream trip for me. Your photos are a reminder too that I have to start taking more photos when I'm hunting.
