Owner Input: VIZSLA - the russet coloured VIZSLA or golden pointer. Originated back in the mists of time originally bred from the yellow hunting dogs from Turkey. They were used find and point game for falcons on the vast plains of hungary. These qualities were adapted for shooting. They are the great all round and are natural hunters, pointers and retrievers. Vizslas are almost too affectionate at times towards their owners and are extremely sensitive on one hand but capable of being strong willed on the other - but do not be fooled by the grovelling when they are being corrected!!! Of all the versatile breeds the Vizsla suits the sensitive trainer the best.G OOD LOOK WITH YOUR VIZSLA BE IT WIRE OR SMOOTH. - David Quarrell | |
