Owner input: Hi, I was visiting your website and looked up Flat Coated Retrievers. I noticed that you had no information on the dog and this e-mail was provided for owner input. I have a flat coat and thought I would share a few things with you. His name is Blaise. I find his temperment to be very gentle. He's great with my 2 year old niece and friendly to everyone he meets. He has never growled or been weary of strange people or dogs. He is very loving and cuddly. I find him to be a dog that requires lots of attention. He is energetic and ambitious and has a very positive outlook on life. Overall he is one super happy dog. I have met other with flat coats and they say the same thing. I find they are a very outgoing, friendly enthusiastic dog. Like other flat coats he is most at home with something in his mouth. When he meets someone he is physically incapable of greeting them until he picks up something, his favorite is his stuffed monkey. He requires a fair amount of groomin! g and lots of exercise. He is well suited to outdoor activities. He can jump horse jumps and has jumped a course as tall as 4 feet. We are starting agility soon. I find that he learns fast and was fairly easy to train. He is eager to please. Overall he is a very gentle, loving, non-agressive animal. I don't know if this is the sort of input you were looking for but I thought I'd give it to you anyway. I love you website. Thanks alot. Sincerely, Andrea Donovan
